The Men's Group

Our men's group follows a larger movement of men throughout the country in joining together to exchange thoughts, deepen our friendships, encourage one another, explore our pasts , and look to the future...
There are many reasons, as women have long realized, for gender-based dialogues. ..
There are male concerns that are properly and beneficially shared man to man... (For example, fathering and being the son of a father.) ..

There is considerable healing, creativity , and community service to be achieved among men... We learn respectful, loving ways to be brothers... The best way for us to deepen our bonds with one another is to spend time sharing aches and aspirations, and telling our real stories, as peers in supportive friendship... ..

We want to be present for and..support one another without offering unsolicited advice... We do this in a setting which respects the confidentiality of what is shared within the group. ..

Men's increasing spiritual awareness and ethical responsiveness is sustained by regular sessions with other men. This will profoundly affect our families and our friends, as well as those we come in contact with on a daily basis.
